Note this walk was re-routed in early 2016 to go via the streets of Hornsby Heights. Lovely breakfast was brought up to our room every morning and it was a delight to eat it sitting on our little balcony looking over the countryside. Cross Growlers Creek via a small bridge in the park and climb up the track which brings you out opposite your starting point. The walk starts at the Kalkari Discovery Centre and follows the Birrawanna Loop Track down to Bobbin Head, a large picnic area with kiosk, toilets, BBQs and more. The downside was lack of plunger coffee during the 3 days you stayed you didn't ask for plunger coffee if it was such a major downside if you would of asked I would of gladly delivered a plunger of coffee to you daily no problem at all.
